Climate of Tenerife Information

The climate of Tenerife varies from WARM in winter to HOT beach & pool weather in summer in the south of Tenerife with balmy warm evenings . . . great for those romantic evening walks to seek out a late night coffee or nightcap or ice-cream . . . to a slightly cooler climate in the north due to more green vegetation and rainfall in the north of the island.  It's interesting to know that when you see or hear of the temperature in Tenerife, the readings are usually taken from the north of the island where the main meteorolgical equipment is positioned, meaning that it's actually warmer of hotter in the south.  It should be 5 to 7 degrees warmer in the south which is still very pleasant due to the offshore breezes.
